We are extraordinarily excited to announce the launch of Be Bright Books!
This is not only a new branch of Luke Flowers Creative, but also the start of a lifelong dream to write and illustrate our own books. We look forward to sharing this journey with you in the year ahead ...

WATCH FOR UPDATES

Launching Be Bright Books was the first step in this adventure. Over the next few months we will be updating the progress of our first book and companion materials!

WORKIN PROGRESS

Our first book has been written, and storyboarded. Now we begin the inspiring and monumental task of illustrating, editing, publishing and printing the book to release later this year!

MEET THE AUTHOR & ILLUSTRATOR
creating a lifelong dream

As a child (and still to this day) I have always been highly inspired by authors that illustrated their own books ... from Shel Silverstien to Dr. Seuss and many more ... I wanted to pursue that same creative path of combining my love for storytelling and my passion for illustration.

My son said he loved this picture (i think it was more the big beard), so I have decided to use this as my author ponders life portrait. So let's be serious ... these stories have been brewing in my heart for years, jotted in notes, told on camping trips and car rides to my kids, and now I would love to share them with you.

Why I like writing for Luke? He illustrates the kind of characters and scenes that I would get lost in as a child, loving the way they told the story without words.

Why I like illustrating for Luke? He writes the sort of creatively clever stories I read endlessly when I was a kid and still read today ... as a kid at heart.
